Hi everyone! This week I was in Florida with MIshelle working on a proposal for a possible new client and it really made me think. Not every business has a store front, if anything most business now are online. And yet most people don’t bother to market these e-commerce site. They believe that magically there site will pop up first when someone goes to look for the services they provide. Well that is just not true. There is to much competition and unless you are pro-active in making your site number one you will lose the race and be left behind in the dust. Just like with any promotion it is important that your site be search engine optimized. I don’t think we can stress that enough. If your site is not coming up in the first 1 or 2 pages of search the chances are no one will ever see you to even buy anything. Next is your social media, which is even more important. This is your way to target the world. If you only have a storefront you can only target the people around you. But with e-commerce you can serve anyone, anywhere , who has a computer. So start selling now.
